It's been awhile since I've had any sort of internet connection...but now I have a little...dialup. So downloading pictures is out of the question. Too bad.

Oh, and if you've seen the movie "4 Christmases" then you'll know what I'm going through right now. Less extreme, but no-less busy.

Edited: Here is ONE picture I was able to download. It was on my mom's computer, and I think it's darling!

Bandaids and Big Girl Unnerwears

Hallie went on the potty last night, and she told Dave (rather earnestly) that she REALLY wanted to wear big girl unnerwears and that she will NOT go potty in them.

Hard to see...but we're both wearing bandaids. My kid likes bandaids.

Christmas Bluejays

Okay, so for some reason Hallie calls her PJs, Bluejays. Whatever. I'm sure Dave has something to do withat. So I bought her a pair of Christmas jammies, and they are a little...snug. But she looks adorable. And she loves them and keeps telling me, "no mommy, they aren't too tight!"

Weekend Recap

Oh, what a busy weekend. Saturday we went to visit Santa aka Satan (according to Hallie, at least). I have been preparing her for WEEKS to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas (a baby and a guitar, by the way).

Well, as soon as she saw him, she freaked. And then when he BELLOWED his "Ho Ho Ho," she freaked. And when she thought he was reaching for her, she freaked. It was hysterical. Maybe next year?

We then went to my office Christmas party where Jan presented her with a darling, hand-knitted penguin stocking. Which she now carries around like a stuffed animal.
