Weekend Recap.

Took pictures of a racoon family in our backyard. Still deciding if they are super cute, or really gross:

Built a giant fort in the LR:

it was pretty narrow...

Went swimming at Alice's pool:

Pick Your Own Strawberries!!

We were so excited to go to Live Springs Berries and Produce to pick buckets of strawberries! So we (me & Traci) loaded up the kiddos (Hal, Kyle & Macie) and headed out of town. We had a BLAST picking our very own strawberries and eating them right off the vine.

OH WAIT.

It ended up being a glorified fruit stand.

So we went to Old Navy.

And had a fabulous day.

I am Making Strawberry Jam,

while my dad-in-law and husband work, and my mom-in-law and daughter sleep and watch Hi-5.

A great way to spend a Sunday.

Booty.

My child will NOT keep her clothes on. What's that all about?!

Oh, the Fun Begins!

Sure sure do love visiting Baby Maggie!

All three kids happened to show up at the same time. Hallie and I should have turned around and come back later...but Irma + Baby Maggie + cousins is just way too tempting and fun :)

Things got a little hairy at the end, but it's really just a sign of what is to come for the sweet angel! She has lots of people who love her.

Jun 18, 2009

Dear Daddy,

Mommy took me to Irma's this morning. I was being a little butt-head, so I had to sit in time out almost the whole way there.

Here is me this morning:

Mommy says I look just like you.

Jun 17, 2009

Dear Daddy,

I'm really sorry I wouldn't talk to you on the phone tonight. I wasn't being grouchy, I was just really into my Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

mickey mouse Pictures, Images and Photos

After all, I am only almost-three.

Anyway, don't feel too bad. I'll be crying for you as soon as mommy does something I think is mean...like try to close the door to my room or turn the light on. She should know by now that *I* am the only one allowed to do those things.

Love you dad. And miss you.

Oh My Achin' Ovaries.

Introducing Maggie Lucille Gerard, baby extraordinaire.

Stats:
6 pounds, 13 ounces (I guessed closest, btw)
20 inches long
Born @ 8:05am June 17, 2009 (obviously)
She looks identical to Mac when she was born, but has the dimples of The Eli.

Memorable Moments:
The wait. I love the wait.
Watching Grandma Lucille cry when she heard of her namesake.
The Pout. So, so cute.

Follow up.

Yikes! I got lots of questions about my last post that I took down. It was a video of hallie shakin' her naked booty.

Talked to MIL who was (rightly) concerned and it just made me realize I should probably take it down.

No big deal, and NO DRAMA!

PS - if you want to see the video (hilarious) - let me know and I'll email it to you.

Worthy of a Lifetime Movie?

I took my last post down.

And not because you preached, dear mother-in-law, but because you may be right. *sigh* That's hard for a daughter-in-law to admit.

So instead, here:

A boring, but pretty picture.

Froggie Massacre.

We have these teeny, tiny frogs all over the place. They are about the size of a...hmm. Something really small. A jellybean!

So being the lover of all things small (ie: kittens, baby sam, worms), she wants to hold these tiny frogs.

And her loving, gentle touch is just not gentle enough.

So we have tiny smushed frogs everywhere. Poor, poor froggies.

Jun 14, 2009

He's baaaaack!

And thank goodness. Hallie was about to lose her cool. And she did, when she finally set eyes on him. DADDDDDY's home! MY daddy's home! (as opposed to the many other daddies that have come avisitin' lately).

And I think Dave turned into a puddle when she only wanted to sit by Daddy at lunch, and then laid her head on his stinky shoulder and said, "daddy, I just love you so much."

You could see him swell.

Jun 13, 2009

Seriously Daddy.

We miss

This.

Jun 12, 2009

Daddy, Come Home.

This

misses you.

Please Watch.

Seriously - this is hysterical. My favorite quote in response to the reporter's question of, "is it important to win?" Eli's response, "No, it's not really important to do anything." I love it.

Another favorite quote in response to "why are you good at baseball?" Eli's response, "i spend a lot of time in my room...playing leggos." HAHAHAHAHAHA.

There are some great moments on this video - watch it allll the way through.

Have You Seen My Driveway?

It's awesome.

Family Fish.

We went fishing last week. I don't remember the day. Maybe Wednesday? Anyway, we had a great time. We found a GOOD life jacket for Hal (the kind that will flip her face UP in the water in case she falls in trying to touch moss or something), and took to the boat to do some fishing.

And the dog followed, as you will see.

Jun 9, 2009

Tired.

I'm taking a 4-week online class that is super time consuming. And yet...we took time last night to do some gardening in high heels. I wish I had pictures of Hal with her watering can and yellow princess high heels pricess.

I'm tired. I have to plan Hal's Princess Tea Party for her little girlie friends and I'm pooping out. Big time.
