Missouri

I am in Missouri for tonight. My Grandma Perkins is very sick, so I am here. I did manage to get a little shopping in with Auntie Liz...and found some gems:

Feigned Indifference

I'll never forget the first time I went with Dave to a show. Armed with my notepad and camera, I was the ultimate fan of whomever was playing. Dave quickly shut me down...do NOT ask for a picture or autograph...better yet...you probably shouldn't try to talk to them. Ouch.

But now, I have found the next best thing - woo them with my lack of awe for their success. And then pray that they will ask for a picture with ME. Because that will happen. Right?

I have perfected the art of feigned indifference. Super cute country star brushes by me or looks my way? I could care less. I mean, inside, i'm dying. But outside...cool as a cucumber.

Tuesday

I'm tired. I couldn't sleep last night. I start classes next week, so that might have something to do with it. I have to take a test on Friday, which also might have something to do with it.

We all go through ugly phases, right? It took me a loooong time to get through mine. It started early, and lasted through...well, hopefully it will end soon. :)
