We celebrated going to school with a feast. Everything was picked by Hallie.
On the menu:
Top Ramen
Broccoli
Carrots
Toast with butter
Chips
We had orange soda and Sprite in crystal goblets and had a jolly good time. Our theme for the year will be "Love to Learn," so her small gift was a book, scissors, markers, flashcards...and fruit roll-ups.
Dave was soooo excited about the Ramen. He just loves it. Can't you tell?
Also, this next picture was taken as she came bolting off the school bus that very first day. Pretty much sums it up - this kid loves school. Big time.
