Day #3

Another looonnnngggg, but awesome day. Dave and I went on a rainforest hike and had a BLAST. It was definitely one of my favorite things from the trip. We all met and drove over to a particular rainforest valley to hike. We hiked UP and over roots, rocks, streams, etc. We got to eat weird fruits and berries and wear some seriously crazy shoes called "tubbies." We ended up at a bamboo forest where our guide, Helga, cut us all bamboo flutes and we had a little band.

Then, we hiked back down the trail, went over the road and then hiked down to the waterfalls. There were gorgeous pools of water to swim in and we ate lunch and did some jumping off of rocks. It was a fabulous day. I wish I could describe it better!

After we got back, we went Lahaina for some shopping and dinner at Bubba Gumps. There was a jam session at Mulligans afterwards for the Bosch people, but Barb and I turned in early. The guys went, but ended up coming home shortly after we went to sleep.
